Baseball returns home for series

RedRaiderSports.com Texas Tech baseball has returned home from a long Florida trip and will take on La Salle in a three-game series at Rip Griffin Park beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m.
The La Salle in Pennsylvania.
"We've been trying to learn as much as we can about them," head coach Tim Tadlock said. "They've only played four games. I ran into someone at the airport last night, a guy that played here in the '70s, and he wanted to know where La Salle was. No disrespect to La Salle, but I had to go look. I actually had some guys at lunch today tell me there's more than one La Salle, but the one from Pennsylvania is coming.
"They've played four games and faced some very good opponents. They faced NC State last weekend which has one of the better staffs in the country. They've been tested a little bit already."
A fairly anonymous school, at least from the Big 12 standpoint, is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Red Raiders. Tech (5-4) dropped four of five games between a round-robin tournament appearance at UCF and a two-game series against Florida International.
